The TorkStrap M500 is a medium-duty TorkStrap: a 14 ft long, 1" wide spring loaded tie-down strap with a 500 lb safe working load, 1,500 lb maximum breaking strength and 120 lb of spring tension. It is suited to medium-duty cargo.
-
Effortless use: no complicated mechanisms; simple pull design.
-
Secure grip: proprietary power band technology.
-
One strap, three jobs: combines features of ratchet, bungee and lashing straps.
Advantages over traditional straps
-
Dynamic tension: unlike ratchet straps, which provide static tension, TorkStrap's dynamic tension adapts to shifts in the load, keeping a secure grip and reducing the risk of loosening.
-
Ease of use: the pull design is simpler to operate than ratchet strap mechanisms.
-
Safety: avoids the snap-back of bungee cords and gives more consistent tension than bungee cords or ratchet straps.
-
Versatility: the 14 ft length and adaptable design suit many types of cargo.
-
Reduced risk of damage: controlled tension helps prevent over-tightening, a common cause of cargo damage with ratchet straps.
