Will a split blade @ battery to a thru hull SAE charge port + 5 port Yak Power damage Yak system?
YP-RP5R Five Circuit Power Panel Switching System
I want to install a more secure/watertight battery box in small space in my Hobie PA 14. I want use a male blade split at the battery and run the Yak Power system off one blade, and connect a fused SAE thru hull cable to the other so I can simply plug in to charge. I don't want to damage the Yak system in doing so. I would not charge the battery and run the yak power system at the same time, but I will not disconnect anything.
...sorry, not letting me attach the simple pic/diagram to show this.
