Go into your Settings, than Bluetooth tab. If the RP8R is in your list tell your device to forget it not just disconnect. After that connect to the rp8 using only the app.
Why won't my YP-RP8R connect to bluetooth YP-RP8R 8 Circuit Bluetooth Enabled Switching System
My unit will not connect va bluetooth now. It has in the past but is not recognized now. I know power is on and the unit is running right beside my phone; so it is in range.
