If the unit shuts off with a fully charged battery with nothing attached to it, a component in the safety circuit has gone out.
My yp-rp5r shut down when I turned on a fish finder, now won't power up at all. YP-RP5R Five Circuit Power Panel Switching System
It worked fine yesterday. This morning, it came on and allowed me to turn on the 2 ports I needed using the control panel. I tried turning on a fish finder, and it shut off. Now when I try to turn it on, it lights up briefly but does not power up even with nothing plugged in. I tried another battery, both have full charges. Also, checked the fuse, which is fine but did have a little oxidation built up which I cleaned off. Has my relay gone bad?
