What are you plugging the red connector into?
YP-LDR50 lights not on, no power through relay YP-LDR50 50 Amp Heavy Duty Relay Switch With Auto-Reset Circuit Breaker
Hello. I have a 12v lithium battery wired through the YP-LDR50 relay to my Motorguide Xi3 exactly as shown in the instructions:
Battery Positive --> Relay Battery terminal --> Relay Load Terminal --> Motorguide Positive
and
Battery Negative --> Motorguide negative
Everything is wired exactly as instructed, and I'm using the proper 6 gauge marine wire going in and out of the relay, as well as from the battery and to the motorguide trolling motor. I have confirmed 12V flowing between the battery negative and the relay's battery terminal. However, none of the lights (neither red nor green) on the relay are lighting up, and there's no current flowing between the battery negative and the relay load terminal.
Should I assume the relay is defective? Or is there something else I might be doing wrong?
