Why does the light on my wireless remote flicker as if it has a bad connection?
YP-RP5W-OR Five Circuit Wireless Digital Switching System with Steering Wheel Control
I just received and un-boxed my new YP-RP5W_OR and found 2 issues;
1) After the remote was powered up, as I tested each relay, the remote backlight begins to flicker and eventually shuts off all together. The flicker is intermittent and doesn't appear to be normal. please let me know if I need to return it.
2) I'm sure you've heard several times but the remote doesn't power up with the on switch until you remove the practically invisible barrier between the battery and its connection. Please consider placing a sticker on the remote "Remove Battery Barrier", and make the tab on the barrier more visible.

Remote is designed to shut off when not in use. The flickering could be ether a weak battery or the push pins on one pcb are not touching the the pads on the other pcb correctly. If you would like us to send you a set of new batteries email your receipt to customerservice@bazooka.com
